You are invited to a workshop for people interested in living in and/or investing in the Viva Project’s first sustainable urban village. This is an opportunity to –
- meet each other as prospective residents and investors
- review/discuss a shared vision (largely developed at previous Viva network workshops)
- form “Study/Action Groups” to begin detailed planning of multiple aspects of the village.
When: 6:00 – 8:30pm Wednesday 8th May
$10 for pizza (standard, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free) or BYO food; hot drinks provided
Venue: CPIT Wharekai in Te Puna Wanaka Building, Coventry St – off Barbadoes St
Facilitator: Helen Telford – “is a highly recommended facilitator working with many NGO’s to harness and build effectiveness in organizations and teams, providing outcomes that exceed expectations”. Sounds like just what we need!!
The groups will work on the steps needed to create a vibrant successful village – vision development, publicity, marketing / recruitment, decision-making procedures, communications, group agreements and processes for community living, stages and levels of commitment, design, finances and legal structures.
